Mamma Mia's Restaurant in Kalgoorlie is a bistro in the Star and Garter Hotel. We are conveniently located in the centre of Kalgoorlie, where we offer full-service meals for your dining pleasure.
We offer a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. We are also a fully licensed venue, available for function hire, where we can seat and accommodate 200 people with full bar facilities.

Mamma Mia's menu has various dishes to suit every type of taste bud in the community.
We serve mouthwatering entrees like "Alette Alla Calabrese" (fried chicken tossed in a spicy sauce), "Calamari Fritti" (Calamari lightly battered), or "Arancini Di Riso" (three crispy rice balls filled with bolognese and topped with parmesan flakes). There's also the home cooked favourite called "Zuppetta Di Cozze", fresh mussel soup with garlic, basil, cherry tomatoes, a touch of chilli and served with toasted bread.
If you feel like having homemade pasta, you can choose either spaghetti, penne or linguine. We make a variety of sauce like "Lasagna All'Emiliana" (homemade beef lasagna) and "Carbonara" prepared with crispy bacon, parmesan, black pepper, egg and a dash of cream. Patrons also love "Pescatore" with prawns, calamari, octopus, mussels and fish ragout, or maybe "Zucca E Spinaci" served with slow-cooked chicken, pumpkin, and spinach in a cream sauce.
You can also go for "Maresciallo", served with pepperoni, capsicum, olives, garlic, basil and chilli in a tomato sauce, or maybe "Vongole" prepped with clams with garlic, chilli, basil and cherry tomato. There's also "Puttanesca" served with anchovies, capers, olives, garlic and chilli in a tomato sauce.
It's not Italian if we're not talking about pizzas. We recommend the "Mamma Mia", served with Italian Prosciutto, mushrooms, olives, feta capsicum and mozzarella. There’s also "Vegetarian" served with mozzarella, capsicum, olives, mushroom, chopped tomato, eggplant on a tomato base.
"Capricciosa" prepped with mozzarella, ham, mushrooms, capsicum, olives, and anchovies on a tomato base, while "Jalapeno Popper" served with pepperoni jalapeno, capsicum, onion, diced tomato, mozzarella on a tomato base gives explosive flavours in every bite. But if you're feeling basic, then "Hawaiian" is the most go-to. You can also opt to add something from the salad bar, chips, or vegetables.
As for the main course, we offer MSA Grade Southwest Pitch Black Angus Beef (Scotch Fillet (350g) and T-Bone (450g), and you're free to pick whatever sauce you want. We also let you choose from our variety of daily fresh vegetables, chips, and salads.
There's "Diane", a mix of Worcestershire sauce, brandy, gravy and cream, "Red Wine" with slow-braised onions in a red wine gravy, "Parmigiana" prepared with chicken breast, grilled or crumbed topped with eggplant, mozzarella cheese, basil and tomato sauce. Or maybe, "Zuppa Di Pesce" or seafood soup served with mussels, clams, prawns, soft shell crab, fish fillet, fresh tomato, garlic, chilli and basil served with toasted bread.
We also have "Catch of the Day" - fresh Australian caught fish fillet cooked your favourite way. Either you want it grilled, beer batter, or bread-crumbed.
Lastly, we offer a kids menu, where all meals include a juice box and ice cream sundae.
