Our Story

White Sands Gallery was officially established in 2015, when Sally put the work of local artists on the Esperance map. Sally’s passion for photography has been a lifelong hobby alongside her husband, fellow landscape photographer Gary. What may surprise you is it was thanks to a chance conversation that her work was made available for sale at all!

 Sally was fundraising for a special-needs playground for kids at the local hospital and a friend suggested she sell her photographs at a local market to help with fundraising. To Sally’s surprise, people loved her work and before she knew it, she’d not only raised the money but exceeded her target, enabling the funds to be used for other projects in Esperance.

 But this experience did more than give-back to the community, it was the catalyst for Sally to establish her first gallery.

 Such was the demand that within 18 months she’d outgrown her first premises! Now she has a larger space, boasting two gallery rooms and in a beautiful historic location at Museum Village.
